Before the first public server start, create a Factorio account or obtain a token at https://factorio.com/.

1. Click Create account BEFORE Start in the main menu.
2. Create a Factorio account.
3. Open Configuration Files.
4. Click Text Editor next to server-settings.json.
5. Enter the username and password on lines 18 and 19, or enter the token on line 22.
