Within the Project Zomboid server at our hosting, you have the option to link your server with Discord.
You can have the following information sent to Discord:
- Player spawning, player connecting and disconnecting
- Change of perks for the game character and complete information about perks
- Information about the player's death
How to turn on notifications?
- Log into your server management.
- Next to the Start/Stop/Restart button, you will find the "More" button and click on it.
- Then in the options menu, click on "Discord notifications".
- Check what you want to enable.
- In the webhook column, you need to enter the WebHook URL of the Discord room where you want to forward the information. It is recommended to split this and not to send everything to one room on Discord.
How do I get a WebHook URL?
- You must have your own Discord server or the corresponding rights.
- Right-click on the place where you want to send information and then click on "Edit channel".
- Then in the menu click on "Integrations".
- Then click on "Create webhook".
- Unfold the newly created "bot" and then simply click on "Copy webhook URL", which you will insert as in step no. 5 in enabling notifications.
