We have prepared a feature that allows you to receive notifications on your discord. This feature is intended for updates to installed mods on the server (SteamWorkshop installed) and if you have set up automatic mod updates, see article https://pay.czechchillout.cz/index.php/knowledgebase/192/dayz-automatic-modificationgame-update-settings.html or when you push manual update.
- We assume that you already have automatic updates set up according to that article
- Open your server administration
- Click on the "More/More" button (next to the Start/Stop button)
- Click on "Discord notifications" in the menu
- Here you select "Yes" to enable it and insert the webhook of the channel on your discord server, if you don't know how to get the webhook, it is listed below.
- Click on Execute
Now if an update is published to a modification you have on your server a notification will be sent to your discord. You set how often the check is done by using the scheduled task for automatic modifications.
The discord notification will always take place when the server is updated! Whether automatic or manual
How do I get a WebHook?
- Open your discord server
- Right click on the text room where you want to send notifications
- Edit the channel
- Link
- Notification Services (Webhooks)
- New Webhook
- A new webhook is created and you click on it
- Click on the Copy Webhook URL button
- Paste and use the instructions above
