Minecraft /// How to find out the current SEED and how to change it

To find the SEED of a map, follow these steps

  1. Start the server and wait until it is fully booted
  2. In the main menu click on the web console and type "seed", the resulting number is your SEED
  3. The other option is to join the game and type the command "/seed"

If you want to change SEED, follow these steps

  1. In your server administration, click on "Configuration files"
  2. For the file "server.properties" to "Configuration Editor"
  3. Enter the desired value in the "Level Seed" field
  4. Click Save and exit
  5. Start the server
