DayZ /// Turning off the FPS limit

We try not to spoil our customers, so it's up to you to turn off the FPS limit, but in any case we do NOT recommend turning it off.

Server FPS will get around 20000FPS after shutdown, which means that the server is trying to send data to all players 20000 times per second

By default we have the limit set to 200, which according to tests is perfectly sufficient.

If you still decide to disable the FPS limit, follow the instructions below

  1. Shut down the server
  2. Click on "Command Line Manager" in the main menu
  3. You will now see a list of predefined command lines and select "Stock - without FPS limit"
  4. Click on "Select"
  5. Turn on the server
